Google told us in February that they had fixed its Google Bomb problem. Then Stephen Colbert proved otherwise. Not everyone thinks he’s the greatest living American, but Google apparently thinks he does, or thousands of link happy Colbert fans do at least.

Just as the News and Media Blog said, Google Bombing is just proof that link building works.

That doesn’t mean you should go out and start a Google Bomb. What it does mean is you can engage in some healthy link building and be confident that your efforts will pay off. The Internet was built on links. Chances are, links will be the death it too.
