Cutts Says Links For Traffic Not The Issue
Matt Cutts has finally responded to concerns over Google’s paid links policy. WebProNews draws the following conclusion:
Matt cites an interesting example of someone advertising that their paid links can’t be found by Google. That’s a red flag for someone that’s not on the up-and-up, but is trying to game the search engine.
It makes a lot of sense. Google is concerned with people gaming them on PageRank stats. They’re not concerned with people buying links for traffic, affiliate links, or directory links. If you thought you were going to lose the benefit of your directory links then you can sigh your sigh of relief now.
