Content Is The Real SEO
OK, brace yourself. I’ve found the secret to life online.
That’s right. I know how to succeed beyond your wildest dreams. I’m not selling an e-book and I’m not offering you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to turn your poor, sorry life into a rich jerk’s dream – complete with a free Cuisinart. I’m simply going to copy and paste:
(Source) So what’s the one thing that the search engines can’t change about their mathematical algorithms? You got it, CONTENT! The search engines can play with the process, methods, or means to judge web site content. But, if web site owners stick to the basic philosophy of providing meaningful content, in relation to the search term, the impact of changes are far less, if even felt.
OK, I didn’t have to copy and paste. But why say what someone else has said just as well? This guy pretty much said what’s been on my mind all year. It’s the most important thing in building a website yet most website owners overlook it, minimize it, or just flat don’t pay attention to it. It’s called content development. Do it wrong and you’re dead before you start.
It’s been said that content is king. How true that is. Others have come along and modified the truth by stating “original content is king.” Yep, right again. But how about this maxim? Content is the real SEO. Bingo bango. The secret to life.
Whenever you build your website you must focus on the content. It is the one thing you have total, complete control over. It’s also the most important aspect of your SEO strategy and your overall Internet marketing strategy. You’ve got to have content that sells. You have to have content that people want to read. Otherwise, they’ll go somewhere else. Bottom line.
So don’t fret over the latest SEO tactics and whether or not you’re doing the right things. Instead, make sure you’ve got your content spit and polished, and targeted.
