Blogging Sensibly
Blogs are everywhere. Mostly they ramble on about pet dogs, pet cats, the latest CD, or movie – the list is endless. But blogs can be used as a powerful marketing tool too. You should set up a blog with just one single focus. Don’t try to cover everything, or you’ll cover nothing.
Use your blog to promote your main site. This is a very good way to give a new site popularity. Give your blog its own domain, preferably on its own C-block. Post every day, or at least three times a week. Rotate your major keywords, but don’t stuff them – make all your posts look natural and useful to the reader.
Treat your blog with respect. It will repay you a thousand times if you use it properly. Post about you cat if you must, but think of your bank balance first, and I believe that you will see the value of treating your blog as the marketing tool it really should be.
