Social Optimization, A New Way Of SEO
Social optimization goes beyond traditional SEO. It targets the human being behind the web page and provides real interest for the viewer. Traditional SEO attempts tp provide an interesting article, but optimizes elements on the page to attract the search engine robotic spiders. With social optimization you are aiming directly at the people without much thought for the spiders.
Say you make a post in one of the Web 2.0 sites like Digg or Squidoo, or wherever, that favorably mentions a new product, explaining how useful it is, using personal experience followed by a link. If you have a loyal following to your pages, you can easily influence your readers to go and take a look. Some will even buy, perhaps many will buy.
Social optimization is really about getting back to basics. It largely ignores the mechanics of on-page optimization. Keyword densities are not really important. Emboldened keyword phrases don’t really matter, and yet it works as well - probably better - than the old way of doing things. It’s well worth considering!
