Keyword research can find a number of related terms that are so-called long tail, that is, having three or more words per phrase, that have low competition, but reasonable search numbers. Then it is simply a matter of placing classified ads on sites such as US Free Ads and waiting for them to rank.
The ads should have a link back to the main web site that you are promoting. Not only that, but the anchor text should be highly relevant too. If this is performed a number of times, and it can be done indefinitely, then the overall effect will be very positive indeed in SEO terms.
