Content Development For SEO
The process of content development for SEO is more than just writing a decent article. Content development needs to be planned a lot more than that. You must have a clear theme in mind for your web site and stick to it. Mixing dog training with growing geraniums will not work.
Most people like to have articles, or content, written to a formulaic principle. This usually equates to an article length of 400 to 600 words, written around a specific keyword, which has a density percentage throughout the article of 1% to 3%. Some might feel comfortable going as high as 5% or even higher.
This works well, though many would agree that the very formulaic nature of this kind of content development has an artificial feel to it, and lacks originality and sponteneity.
Because of this, many have gone back to simply writing around a given keyword theme without worrying about article length of keyword density. By and large, this approach works out at about as well. It certainly has a more original feel to it as there is considerably less rigidity involved.
Hoever, there are probably a majority who still afhere to the old tried and tested method of formula content development. It still works, but it may be argued that the search engines are less keen these days on this approach than a seemingly more natural one.
