Forget about the graphics and think of the content development phase that most websites normally overlook at times. The main purpose of establishing websites is to provide content and information and a lot of the current and up and coming websites have so far taken this for granted today.
Content development is definitely taken for granted. Most website owners focus on impressive interactive menus, advanced scripting and eye-catching images. These are just external factors that a website would normally need. But consider a search made for a particular topic like business or politics. Images and scripts are surely not the bait that search engines would normally return once a user hits the search button. It is also about content contained in the header and the detailed information contained in the sight.
The good news is that more website developers are now acknowledging the claim that web content development is indeed a priority they have to address. Making a site look classy with images, banners and interactive scripts may be good add-ons. But seriously, without proper definition of the purpose of being of websites, chances are the effort in establishing them will just go to waste.
