Email Marketing For Brand Awareness
We all hate to receive junk mail in the from of getting emails which are totally aimed at getting attention. Email marketing is often criticized but while many are complaining, it is building brand awareness in the process. Negative or positive impacts really would not matter. The only thing important is getting the brand name across and people are digesting them even without interest.
(Source) In the most basic kind of offer, you are going to give them a product and they are going to give you money. You can make an offer more compelling by giving the customer a better deal, “Save $43.00,” for example, or “Buy one, get one free.”
An offer doesn’t have to involve the exchange of money. You might offer a free gift in exchange for marketing data; perhaps the user can download a free software program in exchange for providing personal information or filling out a survey form. Or you might offer a free newsletter. In this case, the user might not have to give anything in return; it’s enough for them to let you into their inbox every week or every month.
Some would say it is a cheap shot way of getting online advertising through the electronic mail today. Most of the time, they are classified as junk mail since they really come in the form of newsletters rather than prime messages that are personalized.
Like it or not, the fact remains that marketing is getting the job done. This is not to condone nor praise the efforts of email marketing. The fact is, it is building the brand that is important. Even if we hate one thing, the fact remains that it will stick on to our minds any time of the day.
