The SEO-Social Media Marketing Double Punch
The biggest challenge for most marketers today is not to effectively SEO their websites. Most people who have an online presence either understand SEO well enough to do it themselves or they have someone on their team who has a minimal understanding of it. They know how to use keywords and links to rank themselves high enough in the search engines to be found. If anything, they can at least target long term keywords.
The real challenge is making business online pay off through a combination of SEO and social media marketing. While most people can do one or the other, very few can do both effectively. But being adept at both forms of marketing is becoming increasingly more necessary.
You can actually increase your SEO through social media marketing, and this is where a lot of small businesses haven’t quite figured out yet how it all fits together. Each time you bookmark a blog post or web page you are giving yourself more SEO and link juice. Every time someone else votes on your articles, blogs, or website content then they are giving you SEO and link juice. I can’t think of any better reason to engage in this type of marketing.
