Don’t Put SEO Practices Ahead Of Reader Friendliness

You may feel that good SEO means reader friendliness - not always. I come across many blogs that have done everything possible to maximize their SEO strategies to the extent that much of their site is very unfriendly.

You can fit only so many keywords into an article before it becomes unreadable. Some blogs are of course are not really blogs. They are simply chains of keywords linked together by random words. The key for them is getting the visitor onto the page and getting them to leave via an income making link.

The ideal blog is one that is not only fully optimized for search engines, but also fully optimized for the visitor. The content, while still rich in keywords, is interesting, informative and keeps the reader on the site. More importantly, it brings the visitor back time and again.

Building a user friendly SEO rich site in not difficult. SEO specialists do it everyday with great success. Place yourself in the shoes of your visitor and see how friendly your blog is. Of course, if you have used great SEO processes, your blog will be user friendly already - wont it?
