How To Quickly Install Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a common tool used by many blog and website owners to track visitors to their sites. Google Analytics measures many things including the keywords used in the search to find your page.
How Do You Insert Google Analytics?
Installing the Google Analytics code is fairly straightforward. First you need to visit Google to register and get the code. If you use WordPress then there are plugins you can download and install. Once installed, just enter your Google Analytics code and away you go. Google will track every visitor on your site.
If you do not use or WordPress or if, like me, you use WordPress but do not want to overburden it with plugins, you can use the following procedure.
To install Google analytics, open your main index file (index.php or index.html) in a text editor. Scroll through the file until you come to the /body tag. Simply copy and paste the Google Analytics code into the file immediately before the /body tag. Save the file and, if necessary, upload it back to your site. Your set to go.
