Google Local Listings For Scotland
Did you know that Google provided a free service where you can list your business in their Local Listing directory. You are able to set up a complete profile and maintain it with up to date information.
After registering Google will snail mail you access details. Google Local is only available to bona fide businesses so you know it will not be filled with spam.
When a business appears in the local listings, there is a link that is displayed that takes individuals to your profile - this is where you need to sell your business if you want to attract customers. You can include photos, well written copy and anything else that helps to promote your business including business hours, location and any other specific trading details.
Being free and being ‘Google’, this has to be a must do for all businesses in the Scotland region. Placing your business in Google Local may well give you that little extra edge over your competition.
