Keyword Research Gets Easier With Google Keyword Tool

Google have upgraded their Keyword Tool to show approximate numbers now instead of just a bar graph. This extra information could prove to be a boon for those looking for keyword niche’s to optimize on their sites.

As you can see from the above image, the Keyword Tool displays the little bar graph, the search volume for the current month and the approximate average. This may help to refine your keyword research including associated words and phrases. The Google blog reports:

Now, when you use the Keyword Tool to search for relevant keywords to include in your keyword list, you’ll be able to see the approximate number of search queries matching your keywords that were performed on Google and the search network. These approximate numbers are intended to provide better insight into keywords’ monthly and average search volumes than previously provided by the tool

It will certainly provide a greater insight into the volume of searches for any particular keyword. Google have upgraded following numerous requests from users - its good to see they do respond feedback - eventually. Keyword research has become a little easier.
