Blogging – Why Aren’t You?
Do you have a website? Are you also blogging? No! You should be! Blogs are staking their claim to being the best asset any website can have.
Blogging your business can help to deliver sizable chunks of traffic, traffic that is educated and far easier to convert than that achieved by organic search results alone.
When someone arrives on your website directly from a search engine, they are fishing. They are not sure if they are on the right page or web site. Or not sure if your product/service is what they are looking for – like I said – they are fishing.
On the other hand, user that arrive on your website from your blog have had many of their questions answered – that is if your blog has been written intelligently. This traffic have been on your blog, read your posts (which should be helping to answer questions and soft sell the product), and perhaps even left comments for feedback.
The big difference between the two is that one visitor is their to fish for information, the other visitor is there to buy – they are already the customer in waiting – you just have to complete the sell.
Blogging can also help to increase your search rankings. Blogs attract external links far quicker than normal websites and can often rank new content much earlier than a web site.
When you consider the increased visitor conversions and the increased search engine rankings, blogging is a cost effective tool for every website. If your not blogging, you should be!
