Online Branding And Marketing Is No Different To Offline
Traditional marketing in the bricks and mortar world starts by asking a series of questions. When it comes to the online world of branding and marketing, those same questions are a good starting point.
- Who are you trying to attract?
- What are they looking for?
- What can you offer to them?
- How can you reach them?
It is what you do with these answers that determine how you approach your branding and marketing for the internet.
Who you are trying to attract will help to determine how you design your web site and whether or not any of the social media sites will be of benefit to your marketing.
What they are looking for will help to determine your keywords and keyphrases. Optimizing these terms for the search engines will help to deliver traffics.
What you can offer them is determined by what you have to offer and whether or not it visitors can be converted easily to says for those products and services.
How you reach them will determine which areas of the internet you need to concentrate on. Is it search traffic, traffic from forums or other social media sites or a combination of all three? It may also help to determine which search engines to concentrate. In reality, they are not all the same as certain demographics prefer one search engine over another.
The same questions for offline marketing being used to help focus on your online branding and marketing. The online world is really no different to the offline world – we just use computers instead of the telephone.
