Is Search Engine Saturation Important?
One of the measures of success in your online marketing strategy is your search engine saturation. That’s the number of pages you have indexed at the search engines. There are a number of ways you can measure this metric. Here are some of the ways that we’ve tried:
- For a single website
- SES for a key search term
- Search engine saturation for a business holistically
- SES for a brand
- For a product type
Every time you build a new page and it gets indexed by a search engine, you are affecting your search engine saturation. Obviously, you want as many pages indexed as possible. The more pages you have indexed the more chances you have to close a sale.
